The Rev. Krista Heuett (she/her/hers) is an Episcopal priest and the rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. She began her tenure as our new rector on January 26, 2025. Rev. Krista joined St. Luke’s from All Saints Episcopal Church in East Lansing, MI, where she served as Assistant Rector and later as Priest-in-Charge. She graduated with her Master of Divinity from Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, TX, in May 2022 and has a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies. She previously served as the Regional Youth Network Coordinator – South for the Diocese of West Missouri and the Director of Youth Ministry at Christ Episcopal Church in Springfield, MO. Rev. Krista’s ministry is one that continues to walk with others on their faith journey and creates an inclusive space for all.

Rev. Krista has been married to her husband, Bradley, for over 20 years, and they have two young adult children. Rev. Krista enjoys spending time with her family, sharing her love of prayer through breadmaking, enjoying the beauty and sounds of nature, spending time with friends and family over a good meal, and being creative through all media types. She has a passion for inviting others into new and creative ways of exploring their faith and connecting with God.
